Hunter North (HNA) has been a long term security service provider to PC Connection, Inc., and has responded to the needs of the facilities & site services team (under my direction) for the past fifteen years. During this period of time HNA Services have expanded to coincide with the growth of PC Connection. It is with pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Hunter North Associates. Hunter North was awarded the two-year security officer contract at Greenfield Community College in 2008. In 2010, we renewed the contract for a second two-year period - the first time in the college's history where we kept a security company beyond the initial two years. It was clear to us that you do get what you pay for and paying a bit more for Hunter North officers was well worth it.

When the contract (and renewable periods) expired in 2012, we put to security officer contract out for bid. Facing some significant financial challenges, the college went with the lower bidder and we ended our relationship with Hunter North. Within two months, it was clear that the new security company - with significant experience in providing security guard services - was not able to handle a site requiring interactive security officers. We asked to Hunter North to return and, even though some of their officers who previously worked at our college had moved on to other locations, they were able to resume operations very quickly. We were thrilled to have them back!

Hunter North has been an important part of our college community. Their staff works very well with the college's police officers and other Public Safety staff. Faculty, staff and administrators have often remarked that they see Hunter North officers as a true part of our community, not as contracted staff working at our college.

I have found Hunter North's management team to be easy to work with and immediately responsive to our changing staffing needs and to issues that arise. I look forward to many more years of the partnership of Greenfield Community College and Hunter North Associates.
